We rely on our strong volunteer network and would love to have you join us! There's a spot for everyone regardless how much time you are able to commit. Fill our our Volunteer Interest form to get added to our list. You can pick specific events to help with, or be added to a general pool that is contacted when needs arise.
Saint Patrick School of the Terre Haute Deanery requires volunteers to complete the Safe Parish training program and a background check before volunteering in the school or to work with children in any and all capacities. Training as well as a completed background check must be renewed every five years in order to volunteer at the school or as a part of any school sanctioned activity. First time users will need to register using the link below. Please choose Saint Patrick School as your location and the password is Archindy2021. If you have any questions, please contact Jessica Medley at [email protected]. Complete the Safe Parish Training along with a background check by clicking here.
Here are some of the ways Parent Club volunteers support St. Patrick School:
Room Parents - Each classroom has 1 or 2 Room Parents that help coordinate class parties, plan the class float for the St. Patrick's Day parade, and arrange for teacher gifts at Christmas and the end of the year.
Plan Events - All Parent Club events are planned by volunteers on a committee. Plans are shared from previous years and then arrangements are made for the current year. Volunteers are never left unsupported or on their own.
Work at Events - Volunteers are always needed to work at events. We never ask you to volunteer the entire time, so you'll still have time to enjoy the event with your child(ren).
Help at Home - Sometimes, we need volunteers to do some work from home. This may be anything from data entry to baking treats or purchasing items to donate.
